Join Cumberland Council as a Senior Occupational Therapist and make a real difference in peoples lives across Cumbria. Were looking for a compassionate and experienced professional to deliver strengths-based assessments and person-centred support to adults with care and support needs. Youll play a key role in promoting independence, supporting safe hospital discharges, and shaping innovative care models like Discharge to Assess and Home First.
As a senior member of the team, youll guide and support colleagues, contribute to safeguarding efforts, and work collaboratively with health, social care, and voluntary sector partners. Youll need a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification, HCPC registration, and a strong background in adult services.
