Job Title: Senior Operations Administrator
Salary: £25,200 - £31,800 per annum
Location: Cambridge/Hybrid
Contract: Permanent/Full Time (35 hours per week)
We are looking for a Senior Operations Administrator to join our Platform Management Team. As a key member of our team, your goal will be to support business teams by planning and executing User Testing of changes to our exam processing systems, and providing technical support to business colleagues. This role plays a vital part in delivering efficient, effective and customer focused examinations through the Cambridge English Qualifications.

About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Operations Administrator to play a crucial role in providing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data setup and incident resolution support to business colleague who are engaged in delivering Cambridge English Qualifications exams to customers around the world. You will also get the opportunity to work on tool and report development as part of this role. We deliver millions of English language qualifications globally each year, with exams happening 365 days a year, and this role is vital to delivering these on time and to our highest standards. Reporting to Platform Management Operations Support Manager, you will:
- Plan, perform and report on UAT of Changes, Incident Fixes and Service Request resolutions, involving:
- Organising and running meetings, including planning, progress review and sign off
- Developing test scenarios on the basis of design documents
- Performing testing in both Web based and native applications
- Gathering and formatting evidence to be reviewed by business colleagues
- Reporting and following up on defects
- Support Operational colleagues in the resolution of incidents that impact the daily running of English exams
- Engage in data maintenance activities, both production and lower environments
- Identify areas of processing, both internal to the team and externally, that could be improved through the use of Automation, Generative AI and the Power Platform suite
- Develop Proof of Concept models to show the advantages
- Soliciting and incorporating feedback to build a functional tool
- Writing usage documents and running training for the new process or tool

- Experience of working with multiple processes and systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues based in multiple locations globally
