A global hedge fund, with a small, expanding office in Dubai, require an operations professional to be based onsite servicing an investment desk comprising of a PM, Trader and two investment analysts.
The hire will work a hands-on operations remit, with ownership of tasks specific to the MENA trading desk. As the firm continue to buildout in Dubai, the hire will have the opportunity to build out the operations / MO function for the office, stepping up to ‘Operations Manager’ within 12 months and likely hiring 1-2 juniors over the next couple of years. BAU tasks will include managing PB’s, the oversight of outsourced service providers, recs / P&L reporting to the PM, corporate actions / NAV / margin / FX management / trade bookings etc.
Candidates should have 5-10yrs experience in buy-side operations / middle office, an ability to work both hands-on and with seniority, good project management skills and excellent communication / relationship management skills.
