THE ROLE

We’re looking for a strategic, detail-driven Senior Marketing Manager – Partnerships to lead and manage all media and marketing collaborations. This role is the heartbeat of our external marketing relationships — managing contra deals, media agency communications, PR initiatives, and third-party editorial opportunities that amplify Fintech Meetup’s presence in the market.


You’ll be the primary point of contact for our media partners, negotiating win-win deals, overseeing execution, and ensuring each collaboration delivers maximum

value and visibility for the brand. This role is about making smart partnerships happen — with the right audiences, at the right time, through the right channels.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Media Partnerships & Contra Deals: Own all partner relationships with media outlets, trade publications, and external marketing partners. Negotiate and manage contra agreements that trade visibility for value — including banner placements, sponsored content, and social amplification.
  • Agency Liaison: Serve as the day-to-day contact for media agencies and partner marketing teams. Coordinate timelines, assets, and deliverables to keep campaigns moving and aligned with our goals.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to plan and activate partnership campaigns, including email marketing, digital ad placements, webinars, sponsored reports, and more.
  • PR & Editorial Strategy: Oversee our PR approach, including the placement of thought leadership and brand stories in industry media. Manage timelines, approvals, and outreach for all editorial efforts.
  • Asset Management: Work closely with Creative and Content teams to develop and deliver campaign assets tailored to each partnership’s scope and channel.
  • Performance Tracking: Define KPIs, monitor outcomes, and optimize tactics based on performance insights. Deliver regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a strategic bridge between Marketing, Content, Growth, and Sales — ensuring our partnerships support broader objectives and brand narrative.


ABOUT YOU

  • 6–8+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, or media relations — ideally in fintech, B2B events, SaaS, or media.
  • Proven track record of managing partner and media relationships with confidence and clarity.
  • Experience negotiating and executing contra deals and sponsorship swaps with tangible results.
  • Deep familiarity with digital marketing tactics including email campaigns, display ads, sponsored content, webinars, and reports.
  • Strong understanding of PR and editorial processes, from ideation to publication.
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple partnerships at once.
  • Excellent communication skills — you know how to advocate, align, and deliver.
  • Collaborative mindset with a bias for action and results.
