Senior Payroll Analyst - Hatfield, Hertfordshire

JSS are pleased to be supporting our client, a large international business based in Hatfield, Herts, on the recruitment of a Senior Payroll Analyst role. This role is ideal for someone with at least 5 years payroll experience in larger companies with knowledge of benefit in kind, salary sacrifice, share save and up-to-date HMRC regulations.

The role is based in the office every day during the training period, then hybrid working is available. Experience of using SAP is preferable but not essential.

The Role:

The Senior Payroll Analyst will work in a team and be responsible for:

-Managing payroll for around 2,000 - 3,000 staff

-Reviewing checking monthly payroll including extracting and testing data

-Running simulated payroll each week

-Working HMRC regulations and including tax thresholds

-Salary sacrifice

-Share Save

-Shadow payroll

-Handling large amounts of data on excel vlookup and pivot tables

Improving processes and controls

Profile:

We are seeking an experienced Payroller with at least 5 years experience who ideally has:

-Used SAP or a similar finance/payroll system

-Worked on payroll for at least 2,000 staff

-Knowledge of benefit in kind, salary sacrifice, share save and up-to-date HMRC

-Can work in the office during training period

-Must be confident on excel - vlookup and pivot tables

On Offer:

A package of circa £40,000 - £46,000 plus bonus and benefits and hybrid working after initial training.
