We’re looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Lead to drive global growth and scale our AI subscription services. In this high-impact role, you’ll own full-funnel strategies that turn millions of free users into loyal subscribers across Opera’s browser ecosystem. You’ll be a key voice in shaping how we package, price, and promote the next generation of AI experiences.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute global growth strategies to scale paid AI subscriptions across Opera's browser portfolio (desktop & mobile).
- Define and test compelling value propositions, pricing strategies, and messaging frameworks tailored to user segments and markets.
- Optimize the in-browser conversion funnel through iterative A/B testing, behavioral insights, and UX improvements.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to embed monetization features directly into the product experience.
- Collaborate with Performance Marketing and CRM teams to deliver high-impact cross-channel campaigns (paid, owned, earned).
- Drive go-to-market execution for new AI services, bundles, and localized offers.
- Track and report on KPIs; translate user and campaign data into actionable growth experiments.
- Identify and support partnership opportunities that amplify reach and deliver incremental value.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, growth, or subscription monetization, ideally in consumer tech, SaaS, or mobile apps.
- Proven ability to scale paid acquisition campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic platforms.
- Strong understanding of attribution models, CAC/LTV metrics, and campaign optimization techniques.
- Proven track record of acquiring and retaining paying users at scale through data-driven marketing strategies.
- Experience running and analyzing experiments (A/B tests, funnel optimizations, offer tests).
- Hands-on with tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
- Experience working closely with media buying, creative, and analytics teams to optimize ad performance and conversion flows.
- Collaborative mindset - comfortable working cross-functionally with product, analytics, design, and engineering.
An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:
- Experience marketing AI tools or browser-based products.
- Familiarity with pricing and packaging of subscription services.
- Global or multi-market campaign experience.
