Join us as a Senior Platform Engineer

What you'll do

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll ensure that our platforms are robust, cost-effective, and continuously optimised. You’ll be responsible for consistently enhancing the technology stack by adding new features and ensuring defects are resolved in a timely manner. We’ll also look to you to contribute to the code base, making sure it remains clean, elegant, reusable, and easy to maintain and extend.

In addition, you’ll be:

  • Proactively performing code and design peer reviews
  • Making sure that platforms and operational issues, defects, and maintenance activities are appropriately prioritised, delivering highly available and high-performing solutions
  • Owning, developing, and improving platform engineering tools, processes, and ways of working
  • Pioneering new ideas to improve platform delivery lifecycles, from design, coding, and automation through to effective operational support

  • The skills you'll need

    We’re looking for someone with strong cloud platform engineering experience, particularly in designing and operating secure, scalable, and high‑performing platforms. You’ll also need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment and contribute to improving the overall engineering maturity, supported by extensive hands-on experience in Azure, as well as design, build, and deployment expertise using CI/CD practices.

    In addition, you’ll need:

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft tools and technologies
    • Experience in real-time logging and monitoring
