About Forum Europe

Forum Europe is a leading organiser of high-level international policy conferences, headquartered in Cardiff with a strong presence in Brussels and worldwide through our global arm, Forum Global. We convene senior policymakers, business leaders, and stakeholders to address the most pressing issues shaping the future of policy and industry.

Our conferences are commercial in nature and revenue-generating, combining thought leadership with strong business development opportunities. Alongside our flagship self-initiated conferences, we partner with governments, global corporations, international institutions, and NGOs to design and deliver bespoke events across Europe and internationally.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially driven, ambitious, and entrepreneurial Senior Policy Conference and Partnerships Associate to help shape and grow our expanding portfolio. This role is ideal for someone interested in the intersection of policy, business, and global affairs, and who is motivated by delivering commercial success as well as intellectual impact.

You will be responsible for creating commercially viable, market-leading conference agendas, building relationships with senior-level stakeholders, and driving sponsorship opportunities. This is a high-ownership role where you will directly influence business growth, working closely with company leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Growth: Identify and convert business development opportunities, driving sponsorship and partnerships across events.
  • Product Development: Create and launch innovative, commercially attractive conference concepts aligned with market demand and company growth strategy.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging trends, industry priorities, and policy developments across key sectors.
  • Agenda Creation: Develop compelling programmes, agendas, and promotional copy that attract sponsors, delegates, and high-level speakers.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior policymakers, industry executives, and international partners.
  • Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with events, marketing, and web teams to deliver conferences to the highest standard.
  • Performance Tracking: Contribute to post-event reporting and commercial analysis to inform future growth strategies.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience producing commercially successful conferences, or transferable experience in research-driven roles with commercial responsibility.
  • Strong business development instincts and proven ability to build and maintain commercial partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills with the ability to craft commercially appealing programmes.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Comfortable engaging senior-level stakeholders and building long-term partnerships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, commercially astute, and motivated by results.
  • Interest in EU and international public policy.

Desirable Experience

  • 3+ years in conference production, business development, or a related commercial environment.
  • Understanding of political institutions, policymaking processes, and the commercial event landscape.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary starting from £35,000 with annual reviews.
  • Uncapped personal and company performance bonuses.
  • Profit-share scheme.
  • 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
  • Hybrid working model (2 days in office, 3 days remote).
  • Private healthcare and pension scheme.
  • International travel opportunities and clear career progression pathways.
