We are looking for a motivated computational biologist to join Marketa Tomkova’s group at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, University of Oxford. The project investigates how Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN) progress to secondary Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (sAML), an aggressive blood cancer with few treatment options.
You will lead the development of computational approaches to integrate multi-omics data (DNA methylation, histone modifications, single-cell transcriptomics, chromatin accessibility, and others) from patient samples, making use of TAPS sequencing – an in-house technology that detects DNA methylation and genetic variation simultaneously. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to study design and experimental planning, and to collaborate closely with clinicians, experimentalists, and computational scientists in a multidisciplinary consortium.
