Senior Pricing Actuary / Head of Specialty Pricing

I am currently working with a global specialty insurer operating in the Lloyd’s market that is seeking a Senior Pricing Actuary / Head of Specialty Pricing to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team focusing on renewable energy, marine, energy, and property lines. You will be responsible for managing a book valued at approximately £2 billion.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, as a key element of this role will be managing strong relationships with underwriters and brokers. You will report directly to the Head of Pricing and oversee a team of 3.

I am looking to speak with candidates who have previous managerial experience or are looking to step into a leadership role. Ideally, you will have 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a relevant roles within the London Market. Prior Marine experience is desirable but not a required. Strong technical abilities in Python and HX are a plus.

The role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in the London office.
