As our Pricing Solutions business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced actuarial pricing professional to join us as a
Senior Pricing Solutions Actuary. This is a high-impact role that blends actuarial thinking, product expertise, client advisory work, and thought leadership — all centered around delivering best-in-class Rulebook implementations.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Subject-matter Expert, You Will
Advise and Guide Clients
- Work directly with insurers to understand their pricing and underwriting challenges and gather business and functional requirements.
- Lead workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions that turn pricing needs into robust user stories and solution designs.
- Shape future-state pricing processes, operating models, business cases, and target architectures.
- Support proof-of-concepts and demos, bringing Rulebook’s capabilities to life during pre-sales activity.
Design & Deliver Innovative Pricing Solutions
- Translate actuarial and underwriting requirements into high-quality Rulebook pricing solutions.
- Develop technical designs and ensure best practice across implementation, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with core product and development teams to influence the Rulebook roadmap and future enhancements.
Lead, Mentor & Elevate the Team
- Provide leadership to our Product SME team, guiding product strategy and promoting best practice.
- Manage and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, training and mentorship.
- Allocate work packages, run team stand-ups and meetings, and ensure smooth, effective delivery across multiple client engagements.
Qualifications
What You Bring
Essential
- Experience in the insurance industry — ideally in pricing, underwriting solutions, or portfolio management.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, analyse complex problems, and design practical, elegant solutions.
- Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and comfort working with technical software delivery teams.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
Desirable
- London Market experience and understanding of specialty (re)insurance lines.
- Experience in actuarial modelling or exposure to pricing functions, tools, and frameworks.
- Previous hands-on exposure to Rulebook or other pricing engines is advantageous.
- Experience in implementation of AI and ML techniques in actuarial pricing or underwriting solutions.
