Senior Private Client Manager – Investments and Partnerships (FTC)

We’re looking for a talented Senior Private Client Manager to join our Client Relations Team at Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

What you’ll do

At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as one of our Senior Private Client Managers you too will play an integral part in what we do.

This role forms part of the senior management of the Private Client team who are responsible for the Investable Giving Account, CAF’s market leading giving vehicle (Donor Advised Fund) for wealthy philanthropists generating hundreds of millions of pounds of charitable giving each year and with over £1bn under management. As the lead for investments and partnerships they will oversee the client experience of our investment offer, and advocate for the improvement and development of their options, both with external partners, and internally with Product & Finance teams.

In addition to being responsible for the investment pillar, they will also manage a small portfolio of high-value clients, as well as working closely with the broader client relations senior team on excellent line management, developing a high performing culture and alignment to the CAF strategic plan.

As our Senior Private Client Manager, Investments & Partnerships you will:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing their experience of CAF from investment and grant transactions to participation in CAF’s programme of impact advice, research and events
• Support in the delivery of the revenue generation target from clients across the agreed product lines; grow fees, volume and assets under management through development of high-net-worth donors
• Work closely with the other Senior Managers across the Client Relations team to help embed a culture of strategy, business analysis and impact
• Collaborate with the Product team to advocate for the evolving needs of clients with changes in the investment landscape, alongside the needs of the Client Relations team
• Proactively manage and develop line reports, supporting the building of an inclusive and high-performing team culture

Who you’ll be

This role is for you if you have experience of working in high-net-worth philanthropy or investing philanthropic capital or have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society.

We are looking for:

• A proven track record of managing private client relationships, ideally in HNW philanthropy / with donor advised funds
• Experience in developing productive working relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders both internal and external
• Experience of working with investment managers and/or curiosity and interest in the investment world
• Ability to adapt communications to suit the audience: donors (including high net worth individuals), solicitors, estate professionals, senior management
• Ability to manage and develop more junior members of the Private Client Team
