About Skyscanner
Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily.
Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all.
Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here).
Now, we’re on the lookout for a
Senior Product Designer - Acquisition Strategy to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.
About The Role
(Hybrid)
We’re looking for a curious and impact-driven Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of our landing page experiences that enable us to more effectively acquire new users to Skyscanner. You’ll work in a cross-functional team dedicated to helping millions of travellers discover the world—through high-performing, content-rich pages that answer real user questions and inspire their next trip.
As AI reshapes how people discover and search, this role will be a part of evolving how Skyscanner shows up—designing experiences that go beyond basic answers and create meaningful journeys that users value and that performs for search engines and AI experiences.
You work across a range of surfaces, including key product vertical landing pages (flights, hotels, and car hire) and destination hubs, while also building and evolving the landing page design system that powers our editorial content and campaign landing pages—creating experiences that are both scalable and deeply engaging.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design landing page experiences: Create high-quality, responsive pages across destination hubs, product verticals (flights, hotels, car hire), editorial content, and campaign pages—balancing search performance, content clarity, and user needs.
- Own the end-to-end design process: Lead design from framing problems and generating ideas, through prototyping and testing, to refinement and delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with marketing, content design, product, and engineering to define and deliver effective, insight-driven solutions.
- Use research and data: Work with user research, SEO analysis, and behavioural data to deeply understand user intent and validate decisions.
- Contribute to the design system: Evolve the landing page design system to ensure scalability, consistency, accessibility, and quality.
- Adapt to search landscape changes: Anticipate SEO shifts—including AI-generated results and conversational search—and design adaptable solutions.
- Uplift design standards: Collaborate with other designers to share knowledge and raise the quality of the team’s output.
About You
- Experienced web designer: You’ve created responsive, content-rich web experiences in fast-paced environments—agency or in-house.
- Search-performance savvy: You're comfortable designing within SEO constraints but strive to go beyond them to elevate the user experience.
- AI-curious and adaptable: You’re excited by emerging technologies and able to creatively respond to changes in search behaviour and AI.
- Strong design craft: You bring solid interaction and visual design skills and are confident using Figma, Miro, and prototyping tools.
- Collaborative mindset: You work well with cross-functional partners—engineering, product, marketing, brand, and content.
- Evidence-driven: You use A/B testing, user research, and analytics to guide decisions and refine based on performance.
- System thinker: You’ve contributed to and evolved design systems and scalable component libraries.
Portfolio Criteria
- A portfolio with best-in-class responsive web work that demonstrates your ability to shape broad conceptual ideas into desirable user solutions.
- We would also like to see your thought process from the hypothesis stage through the final result and the methodologies and frameworks you used.
