As a Product Designer at Synechron you will take part in internal project kick-off meetings to understand the business needs, brand, users/customers and gather all creative requirements from clients or Synechron stakeholders. You will work with technology and creative leads to map out the user journey and website/application architecture that will lay the foundations for a successful digital platform.


This role will work specifically with Synechron's top tier FinTech client, within Glasgow on a wide range of projects.


Job Requirements:

  • x5+ years of experience in product design
  • Proven track record of delivering successful digital products and experiences
  • Extensive hands-on experience leading UX research in a product design environment across the Design Thinking stages
  • Experience designing internal products and tools
  • Significant experience working with senior stakeholders and engineers
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
  • Expertise in design and prototyping in Figma
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications
  • Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and accessibility standards
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the design process
  • Create strong UI prototypes and high-fidelity designs showcased in a portfolio
  • Experience with Gen AI a bonus
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects


Desirable Skills, Experience and Competencies:

  • Experience with agile methodology
  • Experience working in a fintech or Insurance industry
  • Bachelor’s/University degree
