Why we're hiring:
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join the team that is augmenting our world class AI with a back office workflow platform. This program of work is central to WPPs’ continued success, enabling agencies to manage their work end to end within WPP Open. This is a greenfield program of work to replace their existing workflow system with bespoke .Net development using a microservice architecture in Azure and Kubernetes.
What you'll be doing:
With a background in SaaS product development, and a passion for the Media and Advertising sectors, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product vision, ensuring our software meets the evolving needs of our clients. Reporting into the VP of Product, your responsibilities will include:
Product Vision & Strategy:
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align product strategy with business goals
Backlog Management:
- Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features
- Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a user-centric approach
- Collaborate with development teams to facilitate understanding and implementation of requirements
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to define go-to-market strategies and product positioning
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients and internal teams
- Gather and analyze feedback to inform product improvements and updates
- Conduct regular presentations and updates on product status and performance
Performance Metrics:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success
- Analyze user data and feedback to iterate and enhance the product
What you'll need:
- Success in delivering a SaaS-based project management solution as a Product Owner
- Certified Agile Product Owner
- Understanding of the Media and Advertising industry
- Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha!)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
