Senior Project Accountant

Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Senior Project Accountant for an initial 6-month contract.

The Role

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our clients Finance team who are responsible for all consolidated internal and external reporting, including managing the Group external audit engagement and reporting to the Audit Committee.

A specific need has arisen for a project accountant to join on an interim basis to support in the completion of a number of projects of varying complexity and technical accounting challenge.

The role may involve technical accounting and/or research, managing large volumes of data, applying judgement and/or assumptions to reach conclusions and adequately documenting each step and conclusions.

Experience Required:

• CA/ACA/CIMA qualified with strong post-qualification experience.
• Ability to apply judgement in reaching conclusions and to present data driven analysis and conclusions that meet technical accounting requirements.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience of working for a complex global organisation.
