Senior Project Manager – Fitout

We are currently searching for a Project Manager for an award-winning Fitout Contractor who are very busy in the London region. A number of new project wins has brought about the need for a Senior Project Manager to join the team.
Initially, you will join an already established team on the finishing stages of a £10m fitout project for a high-profile returning client. Once completed, you will then move into a multi-project role overseeing two £8m schemes simultaneously, which are currently in early stages.
The role:
- Developing a project plan and ensure the necessary resources are organised to meet the plan. Continually monitor progress and take all necessary steps to ensure the completion date is met.
- Developing a project budget and ensure the project is delivered within that budget
- Ensure that all work is carried out to the client’s specifications.
- Ensure that the project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed.
- Liaise with clients and their agents to advise on progress and problem resolution as required.
- Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised.
- Monitor the financial performance of the project and take all necessary steps to minimise costs.
- Proactively develop relationships with clients.
- Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution.
- Ensure that a high standard of safety is maintained throughout the project and that all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.
- Attending meetings and surveys with the client representatives.
Experience Require:
- Strong track record of delivering fitout schemes is essential
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to drive success on project and business growth
- Exceptional client management and contractual knowledge
