Senior Project Manager

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Project Manager to work as part of a programme team to help do a management take-on of an existing datacentre environment and split shared components as part of a separation programme. 

You'll join our excellent team, based in the London area, on an initial 6-month contract, inside IR35, with scope to extend. Requiring 2 days a week in our client's HQ in the Central London area.

Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.

What you'll be doing:

• Driving separation activities across 2 organisations and various 3rd parties focused on data centres, O/S, hypervisor, storage, backup and Active Directory. 
• Driving plans for separation of Active Directory Domains
• Drive any other technical tool separation activities as part of programme
• Driving operational take-on of environments once separated including managing onboarding of teams, KT and take-on of services

What you'll bring:

• Has experience in managing complex projects across multiple teams and organisations
• Has strong experience leading datacentre build / migration or divestments with a focus on Active Directory / Systems Engineering
