If you have experience of Construction project management and are ready for a new challenge, this role will offer you the opportunity to develop your skills and help further grow our business whilst working in a supportive team within the Oxford office.
This role will offer you the opportunity to be involved in projects worth up to £500m with clients including F1 Teams, corporates, Universities, retail, healthcare, defence. This diverse portfolio of projects provides our team with variety to continue growing their careers at Ridge.
What you need to do to be effective in this role
- Autonomy for project delivery of all project stages, supported by a multi discipline business
- Developing and managing client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth
- Identifying strategies and solutions that deliver successful outcomes for our projects and clients
- Identifying opportunities to innovate our services, through technology or processes
- Raising Ridge’s profile and brand within the construction industry and region through service excellence and networking
- Demonstrating leadership qualities to our colleagues, clients and delivery partners
- Advise on and implement the selection and appointment of all necessary consultants and specialists
- Day-to-day responsibility for projects
- Provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with the client
- Assist with leading and managing the project management team
The skills and experience you need to have for this role
- Ideally chartered within RICS, APM or CIOB
- Strong understanding of project delivery processes from RIBA 0-6
- Significant consultancy construction project management experience
- The ability to lead projects and teams, and to develop long-lasting client relationships, with autonomy
- The ability to set up and drive new projects from inception, including the early stages of site de-risking, to completion and close out
- Exceptional communication and reporting, incorporating the use of MS Office, MS Project and/or alternative scheduling software.

You are an excellent communicator who can articulate complicated issues between our clients and our highly skilled project teams. You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to work flexibly, both in the office and on-site, whilst demonstrating commercial awareness and exhibiting the ability to lead teams to complete the projects to agreed timelines.
