Are you a Project Planner ready to take on a new challenge and deliver plans that drive real performance and impact?
We are seeking a Project Planner to help deliver projects efficiently and effectively for our Aerospace, Defence and Security Sector. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, setting clear deadlines, and estimating resources and costs to ensure successful project delivery.
You will coordinate activities, monitor progress, manage risks, and provide updates to project managers. This position requires strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
This is a hybrid opportunity which involves travel to our sites within the following locations – Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire.
What you will be doing:
- Create and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines using Microsoft Project tools.
- Assess resource requirements, support budget planning, and oversee resource allocation.
- Identify risks that could impact project delivery or costs and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Track progress against schedules, collect updates, and revise plans, as necessary.
- Work closely with project managers, programme leads, team members, and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned and projects run smoothly.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
What you will bring:
- Strong proficiency in MS Project planning software and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Capable of clearly conveying complex information to various teams and stakeholders and presenting summaries at the appropriate level.
- Thorough in monitoring project details to ensure everything aligns with the plan.
- Able to identify challenges and find solutions to keep projects progressing.

Salary: £60,000 to £85,000
