The team
The role of the Senior Proposals Manager is at the forefront of our marketing and sales efforts. As such, proposal support is a core service delivered by the Brand, Clients & Markets function to the business.
The Proposals team of three sits within the wider Brand, Clients & Markets team of c.50, located in London, Bristol, Hong Kong and Singapore
.
The ro
leReporting to the Director of Brand, Clients & Markets, the Senior Proposals Manager is responsible for leading the pitch and proposals functio
n.
We're looking for someone to cover 12 months' maternity leave. Not someone who just wants to keep things ticking over. But someone with the energy, dynamism and enthusiasm to hit the ground running and leave the function in a better place than they found
it.
In particular, during this period of maternity cover, they will work alongside senior colleagues to drive through a pre-defined programme of change and improvement. This follows a review of our pitch function from an independent third party, who produced a report recommending the implementation of several fundamental changes to the way the function operates. This report will act as the blueprint for this fixed-term r
ole.
We are also partway through a project to implement pitch automation software - taking over the SME role in seeing this through to conclusion is also
key.
During busy periods, the Senior Proposals Manager will be expected to roll up their sleeves, either leading or supporting on the management and delivery of larger, panel style (often procurement led), cross-group pi
tches.
The role would be suitable for a Senior Proposals Manager who is not only experienced in the pitch process but who also can understand the strategic context in which the firm operates, influence senior stakeholders in driving through change, and manage projects in a rigorous and disciplined f
ashion.
