Senior Prudential Risk Analyst

12 Month Contract

London - hybrid (3 days in office required)

up to £65,000 basic + discretionary bonus

I am looking for a confident Financial Risk Analyst to manage various regulatory projects, including the annual Risk Appetite Statement Review, the ICAAP and the Recovery & Resolution Planning. This role will have significant exposure and interaction with senior management, involving presenting to Working Groups and Oversight Committees.

This is a 12 Month Contract requiring a quick start and is suitable for candidates with a 1 month notice period or less.

Key Responsibilities

• Management and delivery of the ICAAP liaising with senior management
• Management and delivery of the Recovery Plan
• Management and delivery of the risk appetite framework
• Compiling updates and briefing packs for upcoming regulatory engagements
• Monitoring and reporting of emerging risks
• Ownership of the Economic Overview Risk tracker
• Preparing presentations for senior management on various regulatory initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Experience in ICAAPs/ILAAPs, stress testing, wind-down planning
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as EMR, Basel, IFRS, RRPs.
• Experience working in a second line risk function or treasury team with solid knowledge of financial, liquidity, operational and/or credit risk.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, documentation, and communication skills.
• Organised and excellent attention to detail, capable with managing multiple workstreams
• Good presentation skills and ability to speak with senior stakeholders
• Reporting and analytical skills
