Our client, a prestigious international law firm, is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Public Relations (EMEA) to join their team and co-lead their global PR function. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic PR plans that align with business development goals.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with reporters, pitch stories, and manage press releases to secure coverage.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as an ambassador for the firm, providing strategic consultancy and media training to lawyers and professional staff.
- Collaboration: Work closely with practice group leaders and colleagues across various departments, including Business Development, Talent, DE&I, Pro Bono, and Risk.
- Crisis Management: Participate in crisis communication efforts as directed by the global marketing and communications director.
- Performance Measurement: Analyse and report on the effectiveness of communications initiatives, continually seeking improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 10+ years in PR, ideally within a law firm, professional services, or corporate environment. Previous experience with an international law firm is preferred.
- Skills: Impeccable writing and editing skills, strong storytelling capabilities, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Relationships: Strong existing relationships with relevant journalists and experience with media-related software and technologies.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams with empathy, attract, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Global Perspective: Experience working in a global environment with sensitivity to different cultural perspectives.
