🧠 The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our core data platform team. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and scaling a modern, cloud-native platform using Python, AWS, Terraform, and best-in-class CI/CD practices.

As a senior member of the team, you'll contribute to critical decisions, mentor others, and help shape a platform that will power data products across the bank—from analytics to real-time decisioning.

🔧 What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable, high-performance services and pipelines in Python
• Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform on AWS
• Work with CI/CD tools to deploy code reliably and efficiently
• Help architect a secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud-native data platform
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders across the business
• Contribute to best practices and mentor junior engineers
• Influence the long-term technical strategy of our data infrastructure

🧰 Tech Stack

• Languages: Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, Pandas, etc.)
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, S3, Glue, ECS, Step Functions, etc.)
• IaC: Terraform
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Docker, CodePipeline
• Data: Snowflake, Redshift, Kafka (or equivalent), dbt (optional)

✅ What We're Looking For

• Strong Python engineering skills in production environments
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-native architectures
• Proficiency with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Experience with data-centric systems (ETL, event-driven, batch & stream processing)
• Passion for clean, maintainable code and engineering excellence
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a hybrid/remote-first environment
