Job Description
At ASOS, we’re proud of our best-in-class microservices architecture and our values of Authentic, Brave, Creative, and Deliver. We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help deliver and improve the software that makes ASOS awesome.
This role sits within one of our core Search Product Development Teams (PDTs). Search is central to the ASOS shopping experience, helping millions of customers discover products that match their unique style. With a catalogue of nearly 50,000 items and over 20 million active customers worldwide, delivering relevant and personalized search results is essential to an exceptional customer journey.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll work in Agile teams to drive quality, testing, and technology, sharing your expertise and mentoring others. You’ll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and problem-solving skills across a variety of ASOS software projects.

The Details
- Collaborate with engineers and PDTs to deliver well-crafted products
- Continuously question and improve our ways of working, technologies, and features
- Coach and mentor peers through pairing and knowledge sharing
- Drive and own testing practices within the team
- Contribute to CI/CD practices for confident releases
- Introduce and help adopt new tools, ideas, and practices
- Ensure the right test tooling, frameworks, and practices are in place
- Work on a variety of tasks to ensure software is thoroughly tested

- Testing tools: NUnit, NCrunch, Postman, JMeter, Fiddler, RestSharp
- .NET Framework and .NET Core, C#
- Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Microsoft Azure

- Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Azure Kubernetes Service
Qualifications
About you
- You'll have experience with some of the tooling above but an appreciation that a tool can only take you so far
- You have a wide array of experience in the testing field, with APIs, Databases, Service Bus, Microservices
- You've worked with and potentially built out automation frameworks and understand the value that they bring in tandem with strong testing and engineering practices
- You're able to talk through the Application Architecture explaining how risk is mitigated through the testing processes
- As a passionate Senior QA Engineer you've played an integral part in an Agile team working closely with Engineers and all stakeholders
