Senior Quantity Surveyor - Public Sector Projects
Location: Central London
Salary: £65,000-£70,000 per year
Job Type: Permanent
Join Reds10, an award-winning innovator in off-site construction, delivering smart, sustainable buildings across the public sector. We’re seeking a client-facing Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead high-profile projects in education, healthcare, and defence.
The Role:
You’ll take full commercial ownership of one or more key projects, managing cost control, procurement, and risk while leading a high-performing supply chain. Reporting to the Commercial Lead, your input will influence project success and wider business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
Oversee procurement, change control, and contract negotiation
Maintain commercial risk and opportunity registers
Ensure robust contract documentation and supplier performance
Lead and develop junior commercial team members
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in senior QS/commercial roles
Strong commercial and financial reporting skills
Expertise in subcontractor management and negotiation
Confident communicator and problem-solver
Able to lead teams and manage multiple projects
MRICS or working towards (desirable)
