Senior Quantity Surveyor – Complex, High-Value Projects

We’re working with a specialist construction and engineering business on the appointment of an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is a key commercial role with oversight of one or more major projects, involving full lifecycle commercial management from pre-construction through to final account.

You’ll be responsible for leading cost planning, contract administration, procurement and financial reporting across high-risk, high-profile schemes. Working closely with project teams, clients and senior leadership, you’ll ensure commercial performance is managed with precision, rigour and clarity.

As a senior figure in the commercial team, you’ll also support the development of junior colleagues and help shape robust commercial strategies that support project delivery. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced and built on strong values of integrity, excellence and accountability.

We’re looking for:

• Proven commercial experience within the construction or infrastructure sector
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT, NEC)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a confident communicator
• High level of commercial acumen, with a focus on risk management and value protection
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing complexity

This role is based in London, with flexibility required around project and office attendance. It’s ideally suited to someone who thrives in technical environments, enjoys working autonomously, and wants to contribute to the success of challenging, high-impact projects.
