The Radiology Department is pleased to offer a Band 6 Specialist Radiographer position specialising in GI examinations.

Main duties of the job
- Collaborate closely with Principal Operations Radiographers to deliver a high-quality, patient-focused service.
- Set and uphold standards within your area, participate in audits, and identify areas for improvement in collaboration with colleagues.
- Supervise, assess, and teach staff, students, and visitors, ensuring compliance with BCUHB policies, Radiology protocols, and professional standards.
- Promote strong working relationships across departments, assisting in resolving local issues where appropriate.
- Engage in delegated line management responsibilities such as conducting ‘Return to Work’ interviews and appraisals and assigning relevant staff to work areas.
This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and a thorough understanding of IR(ME)R, IRR17 Regulations. This is an ideal stepping stone for those considering senior roles in the future.
