Role Purpose
Steel will play a pivotal role in the global energy transition and will be an integral part of solar panels, wind turbines, electric vehicles, dams, etc. Within Steel, Alloy Steel including Stainless Steel is gaining a lot of traction in Automotive, Batteries, Aerospace, Specialised machinery, and other segments. Alloys (bulk and noble) are witnessing solid growth on the back of steel as well as non-ferrous applications in alloys and batteries.
For industry stakeholders—including miners, steelmakers, automotive companies, and financial institutions—understanding these evolving trends and drivers is crucial to making informed decisions.
