A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Residential Conveyancer / Head of Department (Designate) to join a well-established law firm in Winchester. This senior leadership role offers the chance to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload while preparing to take overall responsibility for the Property Department.
As Senior Residential Conveyancer / Head of Department (Designate), you will:
Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and shared ownership transactions.
Provide a smooth and supportive experience for clients throughout their property journey.
Contribute to the mentoring and development of colleagues within the department.
Take on a leadership role, preparing to assume responsibility for the Property Department.
Support the firm's growth strategy and maintain its strong reputation in the local property market.
6-8 years PQE in residential property law.
Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of conveyancing.
Leadership ability or proven experience in a senior or supervisory role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to high standards of client care.
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Local professional network is advantageous but not essential.
Competitive salary starting from £50,000+, depending on experience.
