This is your opportunity to bring your extensive retail operations experience, project management toolbox and end-to-end store value chain knowledge to enable, grow and develop our owned and operated LEGO Branded Stores across North America and Europe in the Global Retail Excellence Team!

Core Responsibilities



  • Lead targeted retail improvement and excellence projects ranging from portfolio over market to specific store level including project prioritisation, analysis, development of recommendations, implementation and organisational change as well as success measurement
  • Deliver impactful analyses and recommendations to senior partners and cross-functional collaborators to identify and solve meaningful challenges related to portfolio and store performance.
  • Develop and optimize standard processes and tools for in-store experience and operational execution in our iconic LEGO Brand Retail Stores
  • Form a close relationship with our Digital Product teams to support the ongoing digitalization of in-store processes and tools
  • Drive key governance processes to ensure execution within concepts and guidelines
  • Develop our retail excellence toolbox and drive a culture of data focused, performance improvement to our LEGO Branded Stores portfolio

As Sr. Retail Excellence Manager, you will play a key role in further professionalising the way we work with retail excellence in The LEGO Group. By building a strong understanding of our entire branded retail business and especially our LEGO Branded Stores portfolio, you will help drive critical growth and improvement initiatives in close collaboration with key partners from e.g. retail operations, digital, marketing, retail development, finance, real estate etc.

By doing this you will build critical retail capabilities to help deliver on our ambitious strategy of making LEGO Branded Stores the pinnacle shopping and brand experience for our shoppers and consumers.

Do you have what it takes?



  • Proven track record in developing and delivering retail improvement projects that benefit shopper and store staff experience and ultimately drives positive commercial impact
  • Strong project and change management skills that enable you to independently lead projects and prioritise numerous tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with digital teams and products in a retail context
  • Experience in business insights and problem solving, with ability to perform in-depth analysis, visualize data, synthesis results and develop strong recommendations
  • Extensive senior key stakeholder management experience and comfort in providing challenge and a different perspective
  • Ability to easily shift between abstract strategic discussions and operational details to be able to drive a very diverse project portfolio
  • A commercial approach coupled with a strong understanding of relevant systems and data platforms that support a retail business
  • Up 10 10% travel required
