About The Team
As an RF/Microwave Design Engineer within Keysight Lab's mm-Wave subsystems design group, you'll contribute to pioneering mm-wave front-end products spanning applications like 5G, 6G, Automotive Radar, and Aero/Defense. Partnering with our Centers of Excellence and Industry Solutions Groups, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping future technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and definition of new products, overseeing the RF/Microwave design process from inception to production to ensure performance, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Innovate RF/Microwave signal conditioning components across multiple advanced technology platforms.
- Develop intricate electromagnetic models to fully characterize complex subsystems.
- Collaborate within cross-functional project teams to introduce groundbreaking products that meet both internal and customer specifications.
- Partner with internal and external manufacturing partners to prototype and transition designs into production.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, specializing in RF and Microwave Design, or equivalent industry experience.
- Profound grasp of electrical engineering, electronics, and RF principles.
- Expertise in microwave modeling tools, including 1D, 2.5D, and 3D simulators.
- Strong team player with the ability to generate and implement innovative ideas.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, adept at organizing work efficiently and utilizing available resources effectively.
Desired Qualifications
- Several Years of hands-on experience in RF/mm-wave/microwave subsystem design.
- Proficiency with ADS, Genesys, and emPro, demonstrating advanced capabilities in simulation and design validation.
