Job Title: Senior Salesforce Architect – Financial Services Cloud

Location: London/Brighton,Staines

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Architect with over 20 years of IT expertise and at least 8 years in Salesforce solution and enterprise architecture. This role requires a proven leader who can define and drive end-to-end Salesforce architecture strategy, particularly within Financial Services Cloud (FSC), ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to both business and technology leaders, driving digital transformation initiatives across the financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities

Own the enterprise architecture vision for Salesforce platform across multiple business units.
Lead solution design for large-scale FSC implementations covering banking, lending, insurance, and wealth management.
Define data models, integration frameworks, and security standards to align with enterprise strategy. Provide technical governance, code reviews, and best practice enforcement across Salesforce teams.
Collaborate with C-level stakeholders, business leaders, and delivery partners to align solutions with organizational goals.
Oversee integration with core financial systems, data lakes, middleware, and third-party apps.
Guide platform roadmap, innovation, and adoption of new Salesforce features.
Mentor and coach Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Developers across global teams.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (KYC, AML, GDPR, RBI, PCI DSS) and Salesforce security guidelines.
Act as a thought leader representing Salesforce capabilities in strategic forums and architecture boards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

20+ years of IT experience, with at least 8 years as a Salesforce Architect.
Proven expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutioning and enterprise-scale implementations.
Strong background in Salesforce Core (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud) and industry-specific solutions.
Advanced knowledge of data architecture, security, and system integration patterns.
Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, API integrations, event-driven architecture, and DevOps (Copado/Git/CI-CD).
Demonstrated leadership in enterprise digital transformation programs.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) strongly preferred.
Other Salesforce certifications such as System Architect, Application Architect, Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional.
Experience in large-scale global rollouts and multi-cloud Salesforce environments.
Strong understanding of financial services domain and regulatory landscape.
