What You’ll Be Doing...
In this role you will help our large enterprise customers keep their systems and data secure, and minimize their exposure to cyber threats. You’ll be doing more than just providing IT security — You’ll help customers prepare for the unexpected and protect their business, brand, and bottom line.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Forging strong customer relationships with senior business leaders and key influencers.
- Present and propose integrated cyber security solutions, to address threats and risks.
- Crafting solutions from our portfolio of consulting and managed security services.
- Developing sales opportunities related to our security portfolio.
- Tracking results and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Achieving sales objectives related to new business acquisition.
What We’re Looking For...
Building trust and delivering results runs in your DNA. You’re knowledgeable about the latest security technology and know how it can help your customers. You thrive in an environment where things are extremely fast moving, and your dedication to sales success, customer service excellence, and consultative selling has earned you the respect and trust of others. The value of complex security solutions is understood because you explain them clearly in human terms.
You’ll Need To Have
- A Bachelors' degree in a cyber security related subject or related work experience.
- Experience of selling cyber security solutions to multinational enterprise customers.
- Experience of presenting compelling business cases to senior leaders of multinational businesses.
- Willingness to travel as the role requires (expected to be up to 25% of the time).
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A high degree of curiosity, with the ability to effectively probe to identify requirements.
- Experience of leading and inspiring cross-functional teams to pursue sales opportunities.
- Experience that includes successfully selling a combination of managed security services, third party SaaS, and security consulting services.
- Experience of evaluating and documenting technical needs.
- A history of consistently meeting sales objectives and goals.
- Knowledge of data security related legislation and governance, risk and compliance principles.
- Strong communication skills.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
