Job Role


Go Up is seeking a talented and driven Senior SEO Account Executive to join our award-winning team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your SEO career, contributing at a higher strategic level while helping to shape the future of search — including the fast-emerging role of LLMs and generative AI search tools.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering measurable visibility gains for our clients, reporting clearly and insightfully on performance, and working closely with account managers and strategists to refine and implement cutting-edge SEO campaigns.

As part of a multidisciplinary team of SEO specialists, content creators, digital PR experts, and UX designers, you’ll have more autonomy on day-to-day campaign delivery while contributing to the wider strategic vision. This role provides the opportunity to work across a diverse client base, helping businesses achieve meaningful visibility in both traditional search and evolving AI-driven environments.



Responsibilities


  • Delivering SEO campaigns across a portfolio of clients, ensuring measurable improvements in visibility, rankings, and organic performance.


  • Performing advanced technical, on-page, and off-page audits, identifying opportunities, and driving their implementation.


  • Leading keyword and intent research, providing actionable recommendations that inform content and wider digital strategies.


  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog, as well as tracking developments in LLMs and generative AI search tools.


  • Preparing and presenting clear, data-led reports to clients, explaining results, opportunities, and risks in an engaging and strategic way.


  • Analysing competitor performance, developing insights, and ensuring recommendations are backed by evidence and best practice.


  • Collaborating with PR, content, and UX teams to integrate SEO into broader marketing strategies.


  • Staying ahead of algorithm updates, AI-driven changes in the search landscape, and shifts in user behaviour, ensuring strategies remain effective and forward-looking.


  • Supporting account managers in client communication, helping to build and maintain strong, trusting client relationships.



Desired Skills & Requirements


We’re looking for an ambitious SEO professional who has already gained solid agency experience and is now ready to step up into a senior executional and strategic role.

You should bring:


  • Demonstrable SEO agency experience, ideally with a track record of delivering strong results for clients across sectors.


  • Strong working knowledge of SEO disciplines, including technical SEO, content optimisation, keyword research, and link acquisition.


  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.


  • Confidence in analysing complex datasets, spotting trends, and turning insights into actionable strategies.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings persuasively to clients and colleagues.


  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to independently manage deadlines across multiple projects.


  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with the initiative to take ownership and drive results.


  • Awareness of — or direct experience with — emerging search environments such as LLMs and generative AI tools, and an eagerness to explore their impact on client visibility.



Location


Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and able to work from our office in London every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
