Job Description
Become a key contributor to our dynamic R&D teams in Cambridge, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the internal systems that support our rapidly growing business. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead and collaborate on a range of internal software projects, leveraging a diverse set of tools and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency across the company.
What Will I Be Doing
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll lead and contribute to a range of projects from rapid prototyping of new ideas to the structured development of existing platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving the evolution of our unique methodology for defending against unknown cyber threats
- Encouraging innovation and creativity in your approach, while balancing traditional project-based development
- Mentoring and developing team members across multiple programming languages, with opportunities to specialize in key technology areas
What Experience Do i Need
We seek senior engineers with a solution-focused mindset and an analytical approach to problem-solving. During the interview process, you'll demonstrate your extensive programming skills and your ability to write production-quality code. Additionally, you should be:
- Comfortable working autonomously and making strategic decisions, while also being able to collaborate effectively within a team,
- Knowledgeable or deeply interested in cyber-security and malware forensics,
- Experienced in statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems,
- Proficient with Docker,
- Knowledgeable about cloud computing environments (beneficial but not essential),
- Experience with a programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Rust, and C++.
