Tech Lead – GenAI Code Initiatives

DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for a highly skilled Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer to join our team for an exciting new Generative AI project. This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example, working directly with code, building evaluation frameworks, and collaborating across teams to improve the quality and efficiency of AI-generated code.

Main Responsibilities:

• Write, review, and refine code to solve complex, real-world problems.
• Build and maintain frameworks to test and evaluate model-generated code.
• Develop automated test suites and benchmarks to validate code quality.
• Analyze code (human and AI-generated) for correctness, efficiency, and security.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to integrate improvements into AI models.

1. Speed up validation and refinement of code-generating models.

Job Requirements:

• 7–10+ years of experience building and delivering complex software solutions.
• Strong coding skills in at least one of the following: Python, Java, C, C++, or JavaScript.
• Experience with code testing, evaluation frameworks, and defining quality metrics.
• Ability to assess code for efficiency, security, and performance.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Generative AI (LLMs), especially in code generation, fine-tuning, or evaluation.
• Background in developing tools or frameworks for AI/ML model testing.
