As an experienced IT architect, you will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to provide technical leadership to design innovative solutions. The role spans the full project lifecycle between concept and oversight of implementation, building on your broad experience including commercial, governance and systems integration concerns.

Role & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for crafting robust architectural designs, leveraging industry and University best practices, and ensuring that technology solutions align seamlessly with stakeholder goals and the University’s evolving needs to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the overall educational experience for all University stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Clearly communicate and collaborate with a wide range of business and IT stakeholders, adapting your use of language and terminology to suit the audience.
- Evaluate solution alternatives based on IT implications, technical feasibility, risks, costs, and resource needs.
- Document comprehensive solution designs that meet business goals, engaging to refine functional and non-functional requirements.
- Research market offerings, undertake product evaluation, and coordinate the engagement of suppliers and consultancy organisations.
- Design, document, promote and initiate the implementation of the IT aspects of the solution, ensuring that appropriate standards are applied and processes are followed, engaging colleagues and users to ensure satisfaction and benefits realisation.
