As a Senior Sous you will assist with leading the kitchen team, cook food for our students and the wider academic community.

You will assist our Catering Manager with a range of tasks, creating varied menus, training and leading the kitchen team, ensuring compliance with all aspects of food and hygiene safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu preparation and costing
• Assist with the management of stock, orders and inventory
• Process orders in the absence of the Catering Manager
• Team schedules and training
• Always maintain compliance, Food Safety & Health & Safety
  
  

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
• NVQ L3 or equivalent in Catering & Hospitality
• Ability to work under pressure
• Comprehensive knowledge of COSHH and Food Safety Regulations
• Available to work a range of shifts, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings as required
• Leadership skills
