This role sits within the Business Marketing team at LSEG and directly supports the products and solutions within the Data & Feeds business of LSEG Data & Analytics, including those we will bring to market through our strategic partnership with Microsoft.
The Business Marketing team is a strategic partner to the LSEG business, powering commercial value through an insight led approach that enhances the impact of our investment and our relevance in the market. The Business Marketing team is the critical link to the Product and Sales teams to ensure all marketing activities are directly aligned to LSEG’s business priorities.
We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Specialist to support go-to-market (GTM) initiatives for our Data & Feeds business. This may include Real-Time & Quantitative Data, Pricing & Reference Services, Wealth Data, News Services, and more. You’ll play a key role in shaping and driving global marketing campaigns that resonate with financial institutions and technology buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end global campaign creation and execution, infusing core business priorities into an omnichannel, customer-centric marketing mix to deliver impact and relevance across markets.
- Translating sophisticated data management concepts into clear, compelling messages and assets, targeting defined user groups and embedding personalisation to ensure resonance.
- Collaborating cross-functionally and with senior business leaders to understand strategic business developments, crafting marketing plans accordingly and achieving team member consensus.
- Coordinating extensive networks of external collaborators, including agencies, media partners, and MarTech vendors, establishing excellent working relationships to enhance go-to-market plans.
- Analysing data across marketing platforms to measure success and advise on tactic optimisation against objectives and critical metrics, reporting on impact and findings to the business.
- Accurate budget management and reporting, allocating spend towards activities which will deliver strong return on investment to support contribution targets.
- Impactfully activate the LSEG brand, infusing brand values into every marketing initiative, adhering to brand frameworks and guidelines.
- Embrace a risk-focused approach, ensuring all campaigns align with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Staying ahead of global market trends, new technologies and competitor landscapes to advise campaign optimisation, infusing fresh thinking and utilising A/B testing, whilst ensuring brand compliance and consistency.
Skills & Experience Required
Marketing Expertise
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally in data or technology sectors.
- Strong GTM strategy development and campaign execution skills.
- Experience translating technical concepts into customer-centric messaging.
Teamwork
- Can work both independently and as part of a wider team, with strong stakeholder management skills in a global, matrixed environment.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Proficiency with marketing platforms such as Eloqua, Workfront, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Google Display, and Demandbase.
- Data-driven approach with experience measuring marketing attribution and outcomes.
