You’ll join a standalone squad consisting of a Head of Product, Senior/Staff Engineer (you), ML Engineer and Designer to build our new Cashflow Tools ‘Virtual Treasurer’ suite from the ground up.
Role Description
- Build product from scratch: Partner with Product, Design, CX and real customers to ideate, architect and ship our Cashflow Tools suite, iterating quickly to deliver measurable value while laying the groundwork for scale.
- Authentication & Integrations: Design and implement secure auth (OAuth, API-keys) and wire up to Open Banking endpoints and ERP data-aggregation services for seamless, real-time cash data.
- Forecasting Engine: Develop a core forecasting module that projects near-term cash positions from historical inflows/outflows, and surface key trends in a dashboard.
- DevOps & Reliability: Own CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/K8s) and monitoring (logs, metrics, alerts) to keep everything running smoothly in production.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Guide your Front-End and AI/LLM peers, drive cross-functional alignment, and help set the squad’s technical direction.
- Solid experience building backend services (Java/Kotlin) and front-end UIs (React/TypeScript) in high-velocity teams
- Proven track record shipping fullstack products end-to-end, iterating quickly and refactoring as you learn
- Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), relational (Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis) stores
- Solid understanding of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or eagerness to partner closely with our AI engineer
- Excellent communicator—able to translate complex tech into clear plans and rally the team around them
