We are seeking an experience surveyor to join Cushman & Wakefield’s market leading London Occupier Representation team, operating across the South East Region.
The team supports its clients through the entire process of their search for an office space, from the beginning all the way to signing the lease and fitting out the new premises. Its expertise covers businesses of all sizes, from start-ups to large multinationals, across sectors including media, tech, finance, manufacturing, legal and insurance. As an experienced occupier agent specialising in real estate strategy, your role is crucial in helping tenants navigate the complexities of the real estate market to make informed decisions that align with their business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team plan to develop a client portfolio
- Act as prime client interface on projects you manage: update clients on progress, answer queries, provide advice
- Support the team profile in the market
- Contribute to client presentations, bids and pitches
- Identify key technical issues/ problems in transactions and offers appropriate solutions
- Provide input to support delivery of client assignments, i.e. prepare and process technical information
- Work collaboratively to generate new instructions and pool expertise within the team
- Proactively seek out and identify new business and revenue opportunities with new and existing clients
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell when discussing a client’s requirements
Qualifications/Experience Required
- MRICS Chartered Surveyor
- A proven track record of occupier services experience working for a commercial advisory firm, ideally in London or the South East
- An understanding of business development and client relationship management
- Experience in networking and building relationships internally and externally
- A level of experience selling successfully to clients
- Demonstrable technical competence in areas relevant to role
- Demonstrable understanding of market and local knowledge
