Are you ready to play a key role in supporting the Bank's critical financial messaging systems? As a Senior SWIFT Configuration Analyst, you'll provide technical leadership for the Bank's SWIFT services, ensuring the smooth operation of systems that underpin the UK's financial infrastructure. You'll work within the Financial Messaging Services (FMS) team, part of the Financial Systems Solutions division, supporting the Bank's SWIFT estate and related applications!

A Day in the Role:
Your day might begin with a team check-in, followed by monitoring and supporting the Bank's live and UAT SWIFT environments. You'll lead on resolving technical issues, coordinate operational activities such as failover tests and security reviews, and proactively manage major incidents. You'll also contribute to service improvement initiatives-identifying ways to reduce support calls, improve processes, and empower first-line teams.
Throughout the day, you'll engage with a range of partners, document your work clearly, and support a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll also provide out-of-hours support when needed, including Bank Holidays, to ensure the resilience of the Bank's financial messaging systems.
Role Requirements:

How this role fits into the wider Bank:
This role sits within the Financial Systems Solutions (FSS) team, part of the Applications & Product Engineering division. The team supports the Bank's SWIFT product estate, which is essential to services such as the UK's Real-Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS), settling around £650bn in payments daily. Your work will directly support the Bank's mission to maintain monetary and financial stability by ensuring the resilience and performance of its financial messaging infrastructure.

National Security Vetting Process
