Senior System Engineer (Market Making)

A leading MM firm are seeking a Senior System Engineer to manage and optimize our IT environment while supporting end-users and guiding a small team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining hardware, software, servers, and networks, while driving automation and adopting new technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users.
• Manage user accounts, network equipment, and servers.
• Oversee hardware and software lifecycle: procurement, setup, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure smooth delivery of services and support.
• Automate workflows through scripting (Bash/Python).
• Contribute to IT infrastructure design for new business initiatives and technology adoption.
• Lead a small team (2–5 members) and mentor junior staff.

What You Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in system administration or engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Linux installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Passion for learning and implementing new technologies.
• Experience with cloud computing is a plus.
• Scripting experience in Bash or Python is an advantage.
