Senior Systems Engineer

Working across the business, you’ll have the chance to be the Linux Subject Matter Expert, providing infrastructure oversight and ensuring the successful delivery and performance of IT services.

To qualify…

You will be a Senior Systems Engineer or similar, with experience/knowledge of:

• Managing an Enterprise Linux estate in a corporate environment (especially Red Hat)
• Strong Infrastructure and OS background in Linux and Windows. While we want you to be able to act as a go to person for Linux, we’re looking for flexibility to support on the Windows side as well.
• Good Scripting skills in Bash and ideally Powershell
• Involvement in the design, development and evolution of the infrastructure and systems including iterative improvements to existing infrastructure solutions
• A willingness to learn and get involved in unfamiliar technologies. You may have this experience but you will also work with Cloud Platforms, SQL AlwaysOn, VDI Infrastructure, Zabbix and Postfix to name a few.
• Enjoy mentoring/coaching more junior members
• Have strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to solve problems innovatively
