Senior Tax Manager - FTC / Interim

Interim Senior Tax Manager opportunity at Chippenham, UK Headquarters on a hybrid (2-3 days a week) FTC contract.

Join our Global Finance team as an Interim Senior Tax Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave for the current Senior Tax Manager.

Our ideal Interim Senior Tax Manager

• CTA qualified with 5 years post-qualified experience from a Big 4 background
• Strong in-house tax experience, including employment, corporate tax, and Transfer Pricing
• Indirect tax and payroll experience would be advantageous
• Will be available to start the 12-month contract from July / August 2025 and be able to commit to the duration of the contract

The key responsibilities for the Interim Senior Tax Manager are to

• Ensure global tax compliance and advisory matters across the Group
• Assist in strategic and transaction tax planning with the Head of Tax
• Oversee monthly payroll in multiple territories (Including UK, Thailand and Germany) and manage a team of two payroll and indirect tax professionals
• Ensure Group's compliance with global tax and statutory filing obligations
• Prepare tax figures for group/statutory/management accounts
• Maintain transfer pricing strategy and documentation
• Administer tax affairs for a newly structured PE-backed organization
• Manage relationships with global tax authorities and external advisers
• Collaborate on indirect tax matters and transfer pricing strategy
• Handle Extended Producer Responsibility and UK Plastics Tax compliance
• Provide technical support on employment tax matters
