Senior Test Engineer - Hybrid (3 days a week London) - Permanent - £55,000 to 60,000
Please note this role does not offer sponsorship so candidates must have the valid right to work in the UK and be able to commute into London 3 days per week.
La Fosse is working in partnership with a leading media organisation to hire a Senior Test Engineer for their IT team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with proven experience in cloud migration testing.
Key requirements:
- Experience with both functional and non-functional testing on cloud-based infrastructure.
- Solid technical foundation with broad knowledge covering servers, storage, end-user computing, networks (TCP/IP), Wi-Fi, firewalls/security, and Active Directory.
- Practical experience in designing and executing functional test scripts and non-functional test cases.
- Prior involvement in testing activities for cloud migrations or data centre relocation projects.
- Understanding of the defect management lifecycle.
- Skilled in coordinating and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Hands-on exposure to disaster recovery (DR) test planning and execution.
- Previous use of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Azure DevOps for test and project management
