The Theatre team at Queen Mary’s Hospital, is extremely proud of their unit, and over the years the team have been instrumental in the development of the new Dartford & Gravesham Planned Care Centre.
The clinical services supported by the unit are going from strength to strength, and the Trust’s service requirements have seen an increase from 2 theatres, to now operating 7 theatres. Two of these theatres are being utilized by Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King's College NHS Foundation Trust and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust as part of the ‘Healthcare Alliance’.
We are currently seeking Senior Registered Nurses or Operating Department Practitioners with anaesthetic experience to enhance our Theatre Team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to advance both their clinical and leadership skills. The candidates should be proactive and confident practitioners who are able to commit to this dynamic role and navigate the changing demands of today’s healthcare environment.

The post-holder will work in Queen Marys Hospital, Main Theatres and has responsibility for the assessment and development of programmes of care, including monitoring standards of care. In addition, the post holder carries responsibility for deployment, supervision and teaching of multidisciplinary clinical staff and learners.
