Senior TM1 Consultant

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be involved in the full life cycle of TM1 solution delivery, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, deployment, and ongoing support. The position requires a strong technical foundation in TM1 as well as the ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into effective planning and reporting applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into TM1/Planning Analytics solutions
• Design, build, and maintain TM1 models, rules, processes, and user interfaces
• Integrate TM1 with other enterprise systems and data sources
• Participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and technical support
• Contribute to solution architecture and best practices within project teams
• Work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior consultants and technical team members

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including Turbo Integrator, Rules, and Perspectives/PAfE
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
• Experience designing scalable TM1 models for complex business environments
• Proficiency in relational databases, SQL, and data integration tools
• Familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and experience in client-facing roles
• Preference for those with web-based coding experience (Java, Python)
• Open to both consulting and industry experience

Location and Working Model

The role is based in London, ideally 1 day per week in the London office and the rest working from home. All travel will be expensed.
