Job Description
As a Senior Planner at C&W you will be expected to be a chartered member of the RTPI and experienced in managing planning projects. You will also have experience in client management and business development, managing existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities Include
- Preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals (including preparation of Planning Statements)
- Day-to-day management of projects
- Client management to win new business and retain existing clients
- Undertaking planning research
- Attendance at meetings (in person and virtual)
- Attendance at site visits
- Assisting colleagues with large-scale planning applications and appeals
- Attendance at public consultation events and planning committee meetings
Requirements
- Attained grade of 2:1 (or higher) in an RTPI-accredited degree
- Chartered member of RTPI
- At least 2 years post-qualification experience
- Experience in management of projects and client interface
- Ambitious individual motivated by success
- Enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and tasks
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Display business focus with knowledge of the industry and news
- Ability to anticipate, analyse and solve problems
- Ability to work as part of a team and establish good working relationships
- Clean driver’s licence
